A DOCUMENTARY BY KEN HOWIE
We’re so close to wrapping up the film!
Here’s just a bit of what’s been happening over the last few months:
Ken spent the summer building a replica rodeo arena on the Tooke ranch, which became the set for a re-enactment 1940’s era rodeo – just the way the Tooke brothers did, back in the day. The arena was built by hand, with the volunteer help of friends and family in and around Ekalaka. Ace Hardware of Baker provided nearly all of the hardware needed. The rodeo shoot was a huge success, and whole lot of fun. You can see Mary Peters’ photos from the rodeo posted on the Feek’s Vision Facebook page.
The list of television stations interested in airing the film continues to grow.
Theaters continue to send requests to show the film.
Our composer, Max Carl, is working on the film’s score between performances on the road with Grand Funk Railroad.
Historic rodeo footage continues to be sought for placement in the film.
And we’re excited to announce that based on the quality of the story and film trailers alone, Feek’s Vision has been named the Official Selection of the 2020 EQUUS International Film Festival.
Successful completion of this important project relies completely on the generosity of our donors and sponsor partners. Thank you for considering how you can be part of the story. If you can help us finish the film, please do. Your contribution is tax deductible and a letter of receipt will be sent for tax purposes. Gifts of any amount are so very appreciated.
